Anthony Davis

Bio

Coach Anthony Davis enters his 16th year in education and coaching and currently serves as the Assistant Campus Athletic Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator at Houston Memorial High School. This is his 2nd season at Memorial. In his first season the Mustangs finished 10-2, with an undefeated district record, the first time in school history. His defense led the district statically in yards and points allowed.

Prior to Memorial, Coach Davis served as Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Bryan High School, Defensive Coordinator and Off-Season Coordinator at Pearland High School, and spent seven years at George Ranch High School where he was part of the 2015 State Championship team. His defenses have consistently ranked among the best in their districts, leading in points allowed, yards allowed, turnovers created, and player development. Throughout his career, he has coached numerous collegiate athletes, NFL players, state champions, and academic all-state selections.

A graduate of Sam Houston State University with a degree in Mathematics, Coach Davis is passionate about developing the whole student-athlete. He believes success is built through strong relationships, academic excellence, servant leadership, and a commitment to daily growth.

Coach Davis and his wife, Natasha, are proud parents of three children: Tyler, Kaydence, and Kendall. Together, they are committed to serving their community and investing in the lives of young people both on and off the field.
